It would be very easy to do that. Instead of having separate events for men and for women, let all the events be mixed, with men and women competing against one another.

It's an odd paradox: anything where the intention is to discriminate (in the neutral sense) between people by various trials, such as sport, must now be manipulated so that the discrimination may only be within categories, not between them.
